DataSalon’s products are designed to be as user-friendly as possible, while at the same time offering powerful search and analytic functionality. One way we achieve this in our MasterVision service is by providing a number of helpful widgets to support you in formulating your searches.
Date picker
Search for a specific date, range or cut-off date – simply pick the date from the calendar, and the widget will add the search criteria in the correct format.
Number picker
Specify a type of number comparison or range, enter your number(s), and the widget will do the rest.
Hierarchy selector
Navigate the hierarchical relationships between institutions at the click of the button – this clever widget works both ways (finding individuals relating to institutions, and institutions relating to individuals) and makes it easy to define which levels of the hierarchy to include.
File uploader
For speedier uploads, use this widget to drag and drop spreadsheet files, making it even easier to match external contacts against MasterVision records.
Subject tree
Easily find your way through large numbers of subject categories – this widget takes advantage of hierarchical structures within subject classifications (either in Ringgold or clients’ own schemes) to group terms under headings and subheadings.
Search multipicker
Avoid time-consuming Boolean searches – simply click to add or remove terms from your search.
