As well as its core of standard editorial reports, DataSalon’s PaperStack service has a number of optional modules, allowing our clients to tailor their set-up to meet their own particular business needs. This month we look at the newly introduced KPI module.
KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) provide a quantifiable measure of performance, and by including them in PaperStack you can easily track your submissions against your targets. All you need to do is provide a journal-level breakdown file of your yearly KPIs and DataSalon takes care of the rest.

Including KPIs alongside your actual submissions data allows you to see at a glance your progress towards your yearly objectives – either across your portfolio or for a particular journal. And having this easy tracking tool means that regular monitoring is simple and painless – so that you can act early if you’re not on course to meet those goals.

Like all PaperStack reports, the charts including KPIs can be downloaded and shared – making it straightforward to share overall performance with senior management and the performance of a particular journal with its editorial board.
